Mount Rainier: Ohanapecosh

Aaron and I got up early the next morning to try and hit up a couple more Mt. Rainier hikes.  Driving (or rather, being a passenger while Aaron drove) in Mt. Rainier was a little terrifying for me!  Very windy roads plus snow is something that I am no longer accustomed to!  After much driving, we arrived at the Ohanapecosh area and started with an easy hike at the Grove of the Patriarchs.  This is a short (.64 mile) hike which took us a significant amount of time due to excessive picture-taking.

Possibly my favorite picture from the entire trip...the timer was a little early!

After the Grove of the Patriarchs hike, Aaron and I hiked the Silver Falls Loop.  The hike was approximately 3.54 miles and fairly flat.  You hike through woods and encounter numerous waterfalls including the trail's namesake, Silver Falls.

After hitting up Ohanapecosh trails, we headed back to Seattle for our last night in Washington.
